hi,
well the first thing that comes to mind is fire wall softwware. if you got
fire wall software installed it might be blocking window-eyes. if this is
the case your not going to get anything back from install packages or any
other script. so lets try going to get the weather or not script from
script central. and see if it can get the weather for you. if it can't
then we know your problem has something to do with your fire wall.

Subject: Install packages
Hi Jim
Well, I have the install packages script on my xp machine. I was able to
put it on my Vista machine, but I get an error saying unable to access
website. GW told me to contact Jmal who told me it works on his 32 bit
vista machine and knows of success on 64 bit vista machines.
Install script used to work on the W-E beta version of W-E, but I
uninstalled that when I put W-E7.1 and upgraded to 7.1.1. My install
script package is the most recent.
Outside of uninstalling and reinstalling W-E, do you have any suggestions?
I have asked Jamal this question too but don't think he will have an
answer for me.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
thanks
Brenda
