Even if the serial numbers match, a Window-Eyes upgrades only upgrade the
same major version number, so 7.11 would only upgrade 7.0, 7.01, and 7.11.
Any previous version would need to be uninstalled first (backups where
appropriate).

hi if the 6.1 serial number on your system is the same as the 7.11 cd
you should be able to upgrade using the cd. if not you will need to
remove 6.1 before installing 7.11. hth

Can I use the Window Eyes 7.11 cd to upgrade from 6.1 to 7.11? Or will I
have to remove 6.1 first?
