Greetings: I have stumbled upon what happens. If I press the right shift and control keys simultaneously without pressing any other keys, I hear Window-Eyes say "layout changed". At this point, I am not able to use the Window-Eyes hot keys that require those two modifier keys and another character. For example, MSAA mode toggle, read-to-end, the summary hot key, etc. In order to return function to those keys so that WE traps them, I press the shift+control keys on the left side of the keyboard simultaneously without pressing any other keys and again I will hear Window-Eyes say "layout changed". Then I can use the two modifier keys on the right side as before. I am able to duplicate this several times over.
