Thanks much, and if you would let us know what happens then, of
course when you get the time to do the return, that would be
appreciated.

Hi Vicky,
Okay, I'll try Alt-C. Thanks for that. I'll see what happens
when I get to
the filing section.

Hi Les,
I actually never did find the continue button with either screen
reader, but the ALT C always took me to the next screen.
However, when I got to the continue button in the below mentioned
area to say to continue as I had already printed my returns, the
ALT C did not work and I couldn't find away around this.

Hi Vicky,
Actually, I started our return and then had computer problems and
have not
completed the process. I have not been able to find the Continue
Button
with Window-eyes or Jaws, but could do so with SystemAccess.
Have you found
a way to locate the continue button with Window-eyes?

Well, I thought I would try doing my taxes with TaxAct this year
without having to put JAWS back on my system. And, it looks as
if I almost got them done, but then I kind of ran into a problem
that I haven't yet been able to solve.
I actually switched between Window-Eyes and System Access to get
my taxes done, figuring out some of the screens I was originally
stuck on by switching around and getting info from both screen
readers. I got the state and federal returns completed, and then
was going through the final steps to file them both
electronically when I encountered the problem to which I just
referred.
I got to the place where I'm prompted to print a copy of my
returns, or click the continue button if I've already printed the
copy. And, no matter what I do, even after printing a couple
copies of the returns even, I can't seem to find the button to
continue with the rest of the electronic filing process. It
almost looks as if it is down at the bottom of the screen
somewhere just out of my reach, as that message about clicking
the continue button seems to be the last text I hear, and the
print now button appears above this text.
For most of the other situations, ALT with the letter C would get
me to the next step or question, but it only seems to cancel
things in this case and prompts me to then hit continue to start
the electronic filing steps all over again. I have also tried
the auto graphics labeler, moving the mouse both by words and by
clips and then doing a left click in various places, and changing
the mouse boundary from focused to active or full screen, and I
still can't find that goofy button.
Has anyone tried TaxAct yet this year, or perhaps does someone
have another suggestion I might try? Of course, I still don't
claim to know how to use WE real well, so perhaps I'm doing some
of the things I already mentioned incorrectly, but I'm usually
able to figure something out, eventually, but have had no luck in
this case after hours of trying.
