Hello all,
I've been testing Window-Eyes Braille support, using the 7.11 demo in a VMware virtual machine running Windows XP, which I have free as part of a feature of Windows 7 Pro and up called Windows XP Mode. It certainly seems to be the most powerful feature of Window-Eyes, and I like the fact that as I have a BrailleNote mPower BT 32, I am able to use the Braille keyboard as an input method without additional configuration, unlike the competition.
I am confused as per the following though:
1. I went into the Braille Menu, alt-b.
2. I went into options, o.
3. I enabled the Grade 2 translator, as that's my prefered reading grade of Braille.
4. I pressed enter to activate the ok button.
5. I went back into the Braille menu, and chose apply Braille settings for all programs, which I discovered from the Window-Eyes mP3 tutorial I downloaded a while back. 6. The function seems to work, but some programs, like the Window-Eyes Voice Control Panel, is still showing Computer Braille. 7. What I am doing for now is to press the g chord (dots 1-2-4-5-space), to toggle Grade 2 on or off.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Or where I'm confused perhaps?
Do I need to save the set file first maybe?
Thanks for helping me understand the support Window-Eyes offers.
