Subject: creating a hotkey

Hello fellow window-eyes users,
I have a quick question, that is, if people are still speaking to me. I
have an icon for the Duxbury Braille Translator on my desktop, and I'd
like to create a hotkey, preferably ctrl alt D, that I can use as a
shortcut to run the program, without having to search through the menus
and multiple icons on the desktop all the time: Not that that's a bad
thing. I like using the menu structure, but sometimes, when I'm pressed
for time, I like to use shortcuts for things. How would I do this. By
the way, I'm having a much better day today. As far as I'm concerned,
everything that happened yesterday, is in the past. I hope that we can
berry the hatchit, and move on peacefully like we've always have been.
and the next time I have a bad day, (and I'm sure I probably will), if
I happen to post to the list on that day, I promise not to react in
such a fierce mannor: especially on the list. Have a wonderful day
everyone. Oh, and thanks in advance for your help.
Mike
