I have to admit, those were my first feelings as well.

on the other hand, I suspect anyone actually selling a script, is in for a
tough time, and might hit this same wall of those not wishing to pay for it.

just something to consider.

    Yes, this is like those aggressive door to door salesmen who behave like
pitbulls and wont take no for an answer.

    Alternatives have been presented and that is how it should be.  No one
likes pushy sales tactics and they will go elsewhere.  Who can blame them?
