When window eyes reads only the first screen of an email, and reads it
automatically, it indicates that the email is in html format, and you've got
your window eyes html settings (your browse mode settings), to automatically
read the first 24 lines of a new page.

You could change these, by going into verbosity mode when you are reading an
html message, and then changing the new page to read the entire page if
that's what you want, and then go into the WE control panel and save the
.set file.

as for the word "cursor", afraid I haven't heard of that one.

I'd maximize the window, change the subject line of your messages on the
list to be something like "outlook xxxx problems", and I'd mention the
version of outlook where I put xxxx. you'll get more help if you are very
presice in your subject lines to the list.

hth,

Chip

Subject: Two problems I'm having with windwoeyes

I'm new to the windoweyes list, so I ap0ologize if these questions have been
asked. I'm having a c ouple of problems with outlook mainly, but with other
programs, too, that have got me pulling what's left of my hair out.

My first problem is that, until a year ago, whenever I opened a message in
outlook, Windoweyes would read all the way to the end of the message,
regardless of the message length. Now, for some rason, Windoweyes only reads
a screen and I have to press page down to continue reading. I've tried
looking in the manual but can't find how to fix this.

My second question: when I'm rading a message, i keep hearing the word
"cursor" at the beginning of each line of text. It's driving me crazy!
How can I stop Windwoeyes from saying "cursor"?

 Thanks for the help!
  Adrienne

Sorry for my ignorance, but can't you just run the setup program for the
full version? It should then ask if you want to uninstall from there.

uninstall WE and then reinstall it to remove the copy protection. I'm using
Vista Home Premium. Unfortunately, strange as it seems, Window Eyes is NOT
in the list of programs that I can remove in my Control Panel. Everything
else I know of is in there, but not Window Eyes. Also, there doesn't seem to
be an Uninstall option in the Window Eyes menu in the Start Menu. So can
anyone tell me how to uninstall the program? I recall hearing at some point
a while ago something about an emergency removal tool, but I have no idea
how to find it. Do I have to use this tool to remove WE? Besides, I need the
computer to talk to me while I'm uninstalling WE so I know whether it worked
or whether there's a problem. Can anyone help? Will I have to get someone
sighted to help me do this?

couldn't there be a simpler way of turning the LTO version of Window Eyes
into a full copy other than having to back up settings, uninstall the
program, then reinstall it from scratch and restore all my settings?
Just wondering. It seems hard to believe that the process couldn't be made a
bit easier than that.

setting up the LTO plan in the first place. They don't have to do that.
Right now, though, I'm feeling a bit intimidated at how to turn my leased
copy into a full permanent copy. Thanks much for any guidance on this.
