DO THE FOLLOWING IT WORKED FOR ME: WHEN THE WE INSTALLATION STOPS, START NARRATOR. IN WINDOWS 7 PRESS WINDOWS KEY N THEN TAB TWICE AND PRESS ENTER. NOW PRESS START MENU RIGHT ARROW ONCE AND PRESS ENTER ON SHUT DOWN. YOU WILL BE PRESENTED WITH 2 OPTIONS, FORCE SHUT DOWN OR CANCEL. TAB TO CANCEL AND PRESS ENTER. FOR SOME REASON WE INSTALLATION RESUMES AND YOU ARE GOOD. I ALSO HAVE A CD FOR WE7.11 AND THEN UPGRADE TO 7.2, SO I HAVE TO USE THE 7.11 INSTALLATION. I DO NOT KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED, BUT IT WORKED FOR ME WE IS STILL RUNNING.

You don't need an additional CD for Window-Eyes 64-bit support. And Chris H, did you not read the message fully? The origenal post mentions clearly that the guy is using Windows Seven Professional 64. So doesn't it follow logically of course, that he would be trying to install the 64-bit version of Window-Eyes? Seeing of course that it is not possible to install 32-bit drivers and such. Actually, for anyone interested, Window-Eyes, and all synthesizer, and braille-display drivers are all 32-bit. So on your system, that will be installed to a path similar to: C:\Program Files(X86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes, rather than: C:\Program Files\GW Micro\Window-Eyes The only thing that is 64-bit is the mirror display driver. Let me know if you have any other questions and I will try to help. Try not to be too upset at GW Micro for not responding-I am sure that you haven't been forgotten about. :) On 8/13/10, Keith Hinton <[email protected]> wrote: > There is a timing error with Window-Eyes 7.11.
