the problem i have had with downloads is that w e does not have focus on the pop up. i have to alt tab away from the pop up and back again then it will have focus. with popups that are blocked i have to turn browse mode off then shift tab to the information bar to click on the allow or close message buttons. then turn browse mode back on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paula and James Muysenberg" <[email protected]>

Subject: Locating Pop-Up Windows

Hi,

I'm using WE 7.2 with XP and Firefox. I was trying to download podcasts
from a website, and couldn't find a way to do it without sighted help. My
son said a popup window appears over the text of the webpage, which says,
"Download Now", but Window-Eyes didn't seem to see it. I did a Find and
located the text, but had no way to activate it. The numpad Ins with Plus
did not move the mouse to the "Download Now" phrase, either.

The site is oneplace.com, but you have to register to download MP3
files. If anyone has used Oneplace, or dealt with a similar issue, I'd
appreciate any tips.

Thanks,
Paula Muysenberg
