I wouldn't want to buy, or even use free, any screen reader that is marketed in such an unprofessional manner. I don't even know what magic powers it's supposed to have yet, but it is suspect in my view. If the guy who wanted to start the business called Home Depot tried to do so by standing in the middle of Lowe's or Sears and shouted to the customers what a rotten store they were in, I'd have to wonder what was wrong with the guy, his business, and his product. I'd also be very doubtful of any support I might hope to receive from someone so ridiculous. Slamming the company whose media is being exploited to get the word out is a really lousy way to do business. If a great product is available and at less or no cost, then market it. Not only was all this GW bashing in poor taste on this list, but insults all of us who use WindowEyes as if we're viewed as too stupid to know that we should be using the product that isn't even available yet. Get real! Maybe this guy applied to GW for a job, telling them what a programming whiz he was, and maybe he even is a whiz, but who would want to hire someone with such an attitude?

Thanks for your consideration!
Marilyn

Shane,
You think coming in on a blind related support list with blazing guns, attacking company and users alike is going to endear anyone to you? Not too likely.

Your agenda is suspect to say the least.

Thanks Chip! Another developer is always nice!
I see there is some bitterness from failed attempts of the past.

I understand the skeptics. Sorry to have upset any of the users. I think that will change when you see I have good intent, and good code.

David you wrote alot, so I want to address you, especially your last paragraphs. The mouse is not free to roam wildly. In the totally blind option, the mouse is static and locked onto the control that you have scrolled to. No drifting. Mouse movement changes the category, with the diagonal movements ignored. The sensitivity to movement and wheel scroll is adjustable, which is really nice for those with minor tremmors, or similar mobility impairments.

The concept is sound, simple, and it's virus free.
