well, the best way is to go to the start menu search edit box and type in the word "computer" (this replaces "my computer" from xp, and it's not on the desktop).
find your C: drive in here, right click it, and choose "properties" from the context menu. in here is a button for "disk cleanup" which will do it. also, if you want to see what's in the temp files directory yourself, you can go to the file %temp% (enter the percent signs), and it will take you to the temp directory. hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: davy cuppens [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, September 03, 2010 3:40 AM To: Don Bowen Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Access Denied Windows Seven I have the same problems in win7. How do you folks manage then to delete your temp en temporary intrnet files? I know you can do that in the ie but then there are always .gif files and others that remain in the folder! Where do you delete these files in win7? Access is denied for the folder temporary internet files. 2010/9/2, Don Bowen <[email protected]>: > Hi, > > > > I wanted to access the folder c:\users\don\appdata\... but I'm told by > my o/s I do not have privilidges.
