I usually have it set for document recommended. I have tried the other two
options as well the print stream and left to right top to bottom and it is
still no better.
I guess it is just ugly.
What is TAG in a PDF?

I looked at the properties and the file says tag; NO
Is that my problem?
If so How does a document get Tagged? Is it the report writer that does the
tagging?
At this point I am not sure what is producing the PDF the DOPDF printer or the
report writer.
There is a few options when it comes to printing out of my accounting program
print, display, email, clip board
If I use the email it is labeled as a PDF. If I send it to the display the
mouse will work there but I can't search the entire document for words I have
to mouse search every page to find what I am looking for. And going to the
display is not like printing. It is lost once not displayed. So there is no
record of it. I need to keep these reports and the only way they seam to come
out of there is in a PDF. Which is the problem in reading later.
If I use the clip board it shows up in a little window that I don't know how to
work. there is no paste option. cut and copy are the only two such things. I
can also from there send email but it shows again as a PDF attachment. and the
delete.
I am not at all sure what good it is on that clip board.

I have exported the PDF to text in adobe but it is just as ugly there.
I wondered what that create adobe online was all about. I thought that I might
be able to do something with formatting there but it just opened a window
called Adobe air and we can't read that window either. I have no idea what it
is asking of me. I think I have to click on something in that window to get any
farther but I have no idea what the questions are asking so I am not going to
agree or say yes unless I know what it wants. Since I can't read it I just
closed out of that window.

It is just really too bad that the mouse can't read a PDF. If it could It would
be too great.
Thanks for the thoughts,

I appreciate all the comments.

Just curious to know how you have your accessibility settings done in adobe?

I had to change them to make readings columns easier. I will check nine when
you let me know what you are using.

Yes, my adobe is set for accessibility but it still is not easy to
interpret the information.
They are reports that are in columns but they don't come through as real
tables like we would like. it is all jumbled up.
one line of the report reads across as period, gross, fica, med, fed,
state, dues, int fee,
and the next line has the amounts for those titles and it reads
    year, 6789.55, 228.0,178.03,28.00, 130.00, 28.00,

it is really difficult to tell which amount goes with what title with out
remembering that the fourth title is the forth entry in the second line.
It just does not read well.
now If I could find the gross with the mouse and then move directly down
from that word to that location on the second line and then read that amount it
would be so much easier.

Why does the mouse not work with a PDF? or why can't the brows curser be
made to work like the mouse curser and move directly down into the next line?

These reports just are not set up verry well. I don't have the first clue
as how or what can be done to read these better.

Is your adobe reader set to the accessibility settings?
If it is, you won't need the mouse pad.

        Good afternoon,
I have to deal with more and more PDF docs. While the brows mode is
very
useful in finding info written in the documents with the find feature.
I
        have a problem.
These documents I have to deal with are not very well laid out. Why can
the mouse not be used in adobe? I could do much better interpreting of
my particular docs if I could use the mouse to move directly up and
down
once the text was found if the mouse could follow the brows curser.
As it is the mouse only reads the top and bottom of the adobe window
and
        not the doc itself.
        Am I just missing something?
        Thanks for any suggestions
