w e does not work with openbook 8. i don't know about version 9.
the w e voices can be used but if you have openbook voices turned off and use w
e it will only work on one thing at a time
if openbook is set to use the same voice for all, reading voice, menu voice
etc. it will only work on one of them. i guess because you would have to have
openbook load a new copy of w e for each voice before all of the program will
speak.
its just too unstable. and openbook and or w e will crash.

  Subject: WE and scanning software

  Hi list,

I'm planning to buy scanning software such as Kurzveil or OpenBook.
How does WE work with these software. Or does GW Micro has it's own
  scanning software?

  Regards
