true but think of it this way video drivers provide access to such things as
speak windows mouse search mouse reading and other things. so video driver
support is one of the things that makes window-eyes as robust as it is. so
we need those drivers.

not to mention that there are folks who won't let you install video
drivers like the one used for window-eyes.

Hi Louis
Window-Eyes does have the ability to run from a flash drive. The down
side is that it requires a restart after the video support files are
installed.
Personally I would be happy with a Window-Eyes Light. It would be nice
to be able to have Window-Eyes come up when inserting a USB memory
device without having a restart. I would be happy to trade off some of
the functionality that would be lost. Many times I just need basic
access to the Windows Utilities, MS Office applications, a browser, and
email.

Hello folks. When I am traveling and need to use the computer I use
NVDA on a flashdrive. I do this because NVDA does not require you to
instal a driver in order to run off a flashdrive. I would suggest that
GW do the same. This would make it a lot more convenient for many
widnow eyes users. Thanks for allowing me to share my thoughts with
you all.
