Hi Rick,

There was no offense taken on my part. I spent a good part of about two days trying to figure out just what was going on. Raoul tried to help me also, but the final suggestion was to start from scratch, so to speak. My problem was originally with Winamp, but I noticed it happening in other places from time to time, so decided that starting over was the best way. This was one of those cases where it worked out having WE in the taskbar instead of the system tray. I could not use the control key, either. Once I reset everything, both problems were solved.

This is not Alan's imagination. This was happening to me. The
only way I could resolve it was to reset all of the set files back
to their original factory default settings and then set my
    preferences again.

I thought that pressing the number 5 on the numeric keypad
repeated the current line where the cursor is.

Now with the num pad lock on it says 5 as usual but with the
lock off it says center when pressed by itself or with control.

Is this new in 7.5 beta or am I dreaming?
