thanks. i found it. but it was already turned off from my old set files that were converted to the new format. but useing web ferret i still have not found a way to stop w e from speaking the search box and the list view 3 times every time i have to tab between the two windows. i also found a bug in w e 7.5. if i press alt tab to switch between w e and the web ferret program it will switch to another set file and say it is associated with the web ferrett program. this set file is called budget.set. my budget program is not running when i do this. the correct set file will show if i use control backslash but not with alt tab. ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephen Clower To: net bat Cc: gw INFO Sent: Friday, March 18, 2011 5:08 AM Subject: Re: screen voice with 7.5
The on/off option for the screen voice was misleading. The setting actually controls whether or not speak windows are voiced. As such, you can adjust the setting by first enabling advanced options under the Help menu, and then go to the User Windows/Miscellaneous node of the Window-Eyes settings tree. The option is just now called "Speak Windows" and is an on/off toggle.
