In an FAQ entry concerning the lack of accessibility of their Control Center with screen readers, Ivona states the following:
Considering the "standard" mode, IVONA Control Center is not accessible for screenreaders. To switch it into "reha" mode, you should download proper (according to your operating system type) file using links below and double-click on it. After restarting your computer Control Center should be fully visible for your screenreader. 32bit systems: IVONA_to_Reha_32bit.reg 64bit systems: IVONA_to_Reha_64bit.reg These files obviously add or change a Registry key. Does anyone know what they actually do and whether they are safe to use? They are certainly correct that their Control Center doesn't work with screen readers; I get nothing when I open it. Googling "reha mode" just gets a lot of pages in non-English languages. Gary King mailto:[email protected] If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
