Hi Everyone Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, Window-Eyes 7.5, DecTalk Access 32 or Eloquence, Alva BC640 Braille display.
My husband has recently upgraded to Window-Eyes 7.5 using the CD. Since doing this, the mouse voice speaks with a higher pitch than the screen and keyboard. This is strange as the pitch for the screen and keyboard is set to 3 and the pitch for the mouse is set to 2. Is there a setting that we are missing. Also, the keyboard and mouse tones do not speak differently as they are being changed in the Control Panel, although they do change if the Control-Alt and Arrow keys are used. I have the same set-up as my husband and upgraded Window-Eyes to 7.5 from the download. I do not have these problems. I would be very interested in a solution as the high mouse voice is horrible.
