Under devices, synthesizers, do you have checked remember settings for
this synthesizer?
If so, your settings are set just for that synthesizer. You could set
the settings either the same way, or differently for each synthesizer
you use.
If you want your speech setting always to be the same, make sure this
option is unchecked.
Hope this helps,
Jeff Weiss

Subject: Voice Settings

Hi, all. From time to time Window-eyes 7.5 when running Eloquence
switches
to a global voice setting. This is despite the fact that I have set the
screen, keyboard, and mouse voices under Dectalk Access 32 the way I
like
them. The only way I can get the voice settings back is to either exit
Window-eyes and relaunch it, or switch to Dectalk and back to Eloquence.

I am running Window-eyes 7.5,with Eloquence most of the time, and
Windows 7
Home Premium 32 bit on a Dell XPS-410 desktop computer purchased in
December
of 2006.

I do not have this issue on my two-month-old Dell XPS 501-x laptop
running
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
