Hi, We were both running windows 7. The only difference was she was running a 32 bit machine and I was running a 64 bit machine.
As I stated, I turned off the firewall and the UAC but nothing happened. This person needed help fixing their machine, so since I couldn't remote into it, I just walked her through how to fix it via the phone.
