That should be fine as well.

Thanks JJ. I forgot to mention I was running Windows XP when I posted
originally.

Duyahn,
I found one on Amazon that should be what you're looking for. It also has
good reviews and lets you plug in a serial device like a DecTalk to a USB port.

Subject: Dectalk express
Hi folks:
I would like to know if there is a cable that is supported by GWMicro
that will work in way of a USB to a serial device. I have a Dectalk express
unit that someone gave to me and I am going to try to hold on to this unit for
as long as I can. I understand that there is a Dectalk access32 version built
in to Window eyes, and I understand there is the Dectalk USB. However, i would
like to have an external speech source as well. If anyone knows of a licensed
source on where to obtain something that GWMicro supports, please let me know.
Thanks
Duyahn
