That battery will last for about six hours before it needs replaced. i would rather use a rechargable batter where necessary.

(try to do that) its a flat 1/4 inch 2 by 6 inch battery. no one will carry it. unless some one cand build one for you. ----- Original Message ----- From: Duyahn Walker To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, May 28, 2011 11:49 PM Subject: Re: Dectalk express That is incorrect. I have charged the battery after it was completely dead and left it for a few hours and it came on. I have just not unplugged it since I have not hooked it up to the computer yet. ----- Original Message ----- From: net bat To: Duyahn Walker Sent: Sunday, May 29, 2011 1:37 AM Subject: Re: Dectalk express one thing to know about the express. when the battery dies the express will not turn on. even when the a c adaptor is plugged in. you have to remove the battery then it will work on a c again. ----- Original Message ----- From: Duyahn Walker To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, May 28, 2011 11:28 PM Subject: Re: Dectalk express As for the Dectalk USB? I have a Dectalk express unit that someone gave to me and I am going to try to hold on to this unit for as long as I can. I understand that there is a Dectalk access32 version built in to Window eyes, and I understand there is the Dectalk USB. However, i would like to have an external speech source as well. If anyone knows of a licensed source on where to obtain something that GWMicro supports, please let me know.
