Greetings,
You can put as much RAM into a machine as you like, but 32-bit operating
systems such as Windows XP can only address up to 3.5 GB of whatever is
installed.

Steve

so i believe your asumption on the value of only 4 gigs of ram is a bit off.

Hi Patt.
Yes, 64 bit is more stable overall. It is the future of computing, so
upgrade sooner than later if I were you. 32 bit is known for its
instabilities only because of the 4 GB RAM limit imposed by this platform.

Hi Everyone,
I hate to say this, but this thing with Window-Eyes not speaking some
times, is really getting worse. I wish that Microsoft would fix Windows
so this wouldn't happen. It happens with System Access, as well.
I don't have enough fingers on my hands to count the times, I had to
restart Window-Eyes with the control-altW this morning. lol. I was going
down a list of files in a folder, and it just kept stop talking. No
matter what I did. Even the insert backslash didn't work.
Also I loose my sounds atleast once a day, and sometimes more.
I know that my computer isn't locking up, as I'm able to shut down
without speech.
Is Windows Seven 64Bit more stable than Windows Seven Home Premium 32 Bit?
I do know that the folks at GW Micro are doing their absolute best to
fix this problem.<smile>
Thanks much.
