Correct, it's not up for debate, *smile*. If you forget which version
you are running, go to Help/About, or write an app which will tell you
the version of an active app when you execute a hot key of your choice.
For example, using Immed you can type:
print ActiveWindow.Process.ProductVersion
and get the version of the current program you are in.
