I am aware of that. Thank you. However, I just like it better if it still
tells me automatically.

Subject: Re: Version numbers in We

Hello Sandra:

Unlike Jaws that allows you to have multiple versions installed in several
different program folders, Window-Eyes only has one install and one program
folder. In order to have Window-Eyes of different installed, you have to
modify the program folder name each time.

Since this is NOT MOST LIKELY the case, I believe you will always know which
version of Window-Eyes you are running. Of course you do know that Windows 9xx
and 2000 are no longer supported unless you install an older version of
Window-Eyes and give its program folder a name you can remember during the
installation process.

Living in Denver, I got used to getting off the bus at a particular park and
ride to connect the next bus. Suddenly, the park and ride stop was moved
further back and closer to Walmart. I don't like the idea, but since I am
still able to make my bus connections, it's all good.

Window-Eyes is the only screen reader on my computer at home and work; and if
it isn't, I am able to create shortcut keys for launching whichever screen
reader I want to play with as needed.

I don't know of any mainstream program application that announces version
numbers when you start them, so I think it's about time Window-Eyes keep up
with this trend if I can call it that.

Sincerely,
Olusegun
