TB 3.1. Have just installed TB Enhance 1.0.6 and the preview message has 
not taken a hike yet. Have double checked that tab view is used. Perhaps 
something else to compare, I have the check box to close window when 
delete is pressed set to "not checked," since I prefer to go through 
messages pressing delete with the next message automatically opened, 
rather than being moved back to the message list and entering on the 
next one. Could this make the difference?

If you switch to tabbed view, this problem (and a few others) goes away.
I'll work on the non-tabbed view next week.
