Shannon,

Sorry you are having problems. One variable which may be at play is our UIA support. To determine whether this is the case,
1. From within Window-Eyes, press Alt-F, E to open your profile folder.
2. Locate wineyes.ini, and open it.
3.  Search for
EnableUIA=1
and change it to
EnableUIA=0
4.  Save the file.
5.  Restart Window-Eyes.

Does this improve the situation at all?

Regards,
Steve

I have been experiencing WE total crashing when I invoke the mouse in
our accounting program.
I open the payroll module and enter into an employee and use the mouse
to find the total hours for the week and after a few employees treated
like this WE goes silent and I just know in my heart that WE is gone. A
minuet later I will hear my tower make a bleep noise and WE is no longer
going to speak. I am not able to stop it with the task manager or
restart we because it says that it is running. The only way to bring it
back is a restart of the computer.
This is an XP pro machine.
I have had this happen at least four times last week and again just a
few minutes ago. I have sent in the error reports that WE generates
after a computer re boot.
This is not what happened in 7.2 this only started with 7.5.1.
I have no idea what is wrong but the mouse has some sort of illness.
Smile It makes WE sick and that is all she wrote until a reboot.
Anyone else having this problem?
Shannon.
