Hi,
If you are using Windows 7, you can change how long the tool tips remain
visible. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I found this. I have
mine set to 30 seconds and although I don't think it lasts that long, it
does keep the tip up for longer than the five seconds it was originally
set for. Maybe someone can suggest where you might find this setting.

Windows 7, the procedure to do this fails every time for me. It's
not a case of waiting too long before excecuting the command to
click the balloon, as I do it immediately after the speech
notification. Pressing insert+numeric plus twice in rapid succession
should route the mouse to the balloon, but W-E 7.5.1 informs me that
it's unable to route pointer to tooltip.<br>

My screen resolution is set pretty high, so I doubt whether W-E is
unable to pick up the desired balloon.<br>
