happening here with one of my machines, one is 64 bit vista and the

I had this same issue in XP pro. I don't really know about Vista, I

I have a similar problem with Windows Vista home edition Sp2
When the computer first starts up, I never have working desktop icons at
first. I have to either tab around for a while, or press the windows
key and escape and then tab to the desktop to make the icons speak
normally.

it can not work when w e has crashed.
it happens after useing the windows task kill when w e stops talking and
reload it. i have to tab to the desktop, back out and back on the desk
top
again before speech returns to the icons. then everything works
normally
again. has the task kill commands changed for windows 7 from vista?

taskkill /F /IM wineyes.exe
