Thanks Kev, i'll certainly suggest that to her. What is also
interesting like I mentioned before is that her script status is set to
on, but none of her scripts seem to be working at the moment. For
example, when she starts Winamp, she hears, updating script defaults,
please wait... and it just gets stuck there.
Any other thoughts?

Yyou can go on the AppCentral website and make sure your friend has
the latest version of AppGet.
Or, you can have your friend disable the AppGet app and install the
Install Packages app by Jamal Masrui, and use that one to update the
