I'm not using Windows-7; I'm using Windows xp professional. So, logically,
it's more complicated than a Windows-7 issue.

Subject: Re: windoweyes not letting go of programs - - a serious problem

I know this is a major problem in Windows 7 thanks to bugs in the UIA
(UI Automation) implementation. Simply telling Window-Eyes not to
provide UIA support can solve the problem, but then it means Window-Eyes
won't have access to parts of the operating system or even third party
programs not to work thanks to them using UIA. So it's a vicious circle
really. Either live with the bugs and hope Microsoft comes out with a
fix, or get used to the limitations after turning off UIA support. Yes
let's hope GW Micro and Microsoft can collaborate so they can fix these
bugs.
