Dave,

Although it isn't the answer you are likely wanting to hear, this will all be cleaned up with the Browse Mode rewrite for Window-Eyes 8.

Hi list,

There is a rather annoying annoyance that I am not sure what to do
about. If I read a pdf with adobe reader, when I alt-tab away from the
document to go to another window, when I go back to the pdf, window-eyes
puts me at the top of the thing. It does the same thing with some
websites, specially if there's a lot of text, like a story of some kind.
I'm wondering if there is some way to get adobe, or some other pdf
reader, to keep my place in the pdf if I move away from it? Whenever I'm
in a webpage and press the previous position hotkey, there is never a
previous position, why is that? what's the point of the hotkey in that
case? sorry, two kind of related messages in one here.
