It's hard to give a warning for problems that we're not experiencing.
I've tried duplicating the issues you mentioned in your initial message,
but I'm not able to. It's working as expected here. I'm trying another
machine, with a fresh install of TB8, and will see if I can duplicate
anything there, but so far, something in our setups is differing enough
to keep the problems you're having from showing up here. I'll continue
to test. In the meantime, perhaps you could try a new TB profile.

an inadequate default solution. I have a client who for physical
reasons will have a very difficult time with this change. There was no
