Hello,

I have a friend with a new computer. It keeps saying something we can't understand and then task switching. I walked her through your steps listed in an email from earlier today. Now, the first part is gone, but the task switching is still there. Do you have any other suggestionsd? Her computer is an HP with windows pro and 64 bit. Thank you.

Carol

Hi David! If you run MS Config by typing Windows+R, then type msconfig and hit enter. Shift-tab to the tab control. Then right-arrow till you hear startup selection. Then tab and you'll be in a list box. Then down-arrow through your items and uncheck Catalyst control center. This will do no harm at all to your system, as the options it controls are still available to you in the desktop context menu. Navigate to ok, restart your computer and you'll never see this window again. Enjoy.
