Hi everyone,
I was listening to the pod casts put out a while ago by GW. Micro
about using Window-Eyes with MicroSoft Word. One thing that the
speaker mentioned was the ability to have extended selection of text
by pressing F8, and using the arrow keys or the control and arrow
keys with having to also hold down the shift key. After not being
able to make this work, I called their tech support people, and they
informed me that it doesn't work now ever since version 7.5. I can
live with that, but I have a suggestion for the future. How about
instead of still having to use the control and arrow keys with this
"extended selection" option, you would have the ability to have the
text selected by using the "read-to-end" key after pressing the F8
key? When you want to stop the selection, you could press the F8 key
again. Can anyone think of a reason why that wouldn't work?
