The Window-Eyes update check and App Get use the same underlying
technology, so it should still work. I'll do some investigation.

App Get (and any other app that uses the WinHTTP COM interface) retrieves
any necessary proxy settings from Internet Explorer (it's under Tools ->
Options -> Lan Settings -> Proxy server). Is that information setup
correctly?
