Thanks to everyone's suggestions. It looks like I'm stuck with
Thunderbird 3.1.1 for now. I uninstalled Thunderbird 8.0, downgraded to
TB 3.1.1 and can now reply to messages. I've
I'm not using any odd keystrokes at all, I initially used the control
shift r keystroke which replies to everyone, but remembered later that
control plus r replies to the sender. When using thunderbird 8.0, I'm
unable to shift tab to the subject field and the to fields of my
message, and when I type, window-eyes says, not a valid key press, or
other messages, as if I was on a web page. It seems to work with tb
3.1.1 however, which stumps me a lot. I appreciate everyone's atempts
to help, but it looks as if I'm stuck with TB 3 for a while. I don't
mind it actually, but it's that thing where you say, it worked
yesterday, so why doesn't it work today? Also with tb 3 as I
mentioned, after i type a few words, window-eyes repeats back what i've
typed. If I upgrade to TB 8.0 again, i won't be able to reply to a
message like I said before.
