The only box he found under power options was to show the icon for power usage. Is he missing something? Nowhere does he even see his external drive except in Windows Explorer. Thanks.

My brother uses xp and needs to know how to make the safely remove hardware option available with Window-Eyes. He does not have any way to know when it is safe to unplug his external drive. Unfortunately, I use Win7 and I can't figure out what to tell him. Any help would be appreciated.
