Pat, I found out the other day that there is a link on the ninite
installer that says:
screen reader friendly apps. It seems that it actually has the same
installers but when you run the installer, having gottenit from that
link, it'll talk, well, at least, it'll tell ou what it's installing
and the progress of the installer.
Actually, though, come to think of it, not sure how it
really does react with Windows 7. Anybody else might have some input
on that score.
Take care,
Brenda

Hi Everyone,
I can't seem to get Window-Eyes to talk with any of the Ninite
Installers I have selected different programs on their site, and I
tell Windows to allow the app to install, and nothing happens after
that. When I go to delete the installer, it tells me it is in
progress. I have been waiting for one batch of programs to install,
since 9:30 this morning. I had Vernon look at the screen, and he
can't see where anything is happening, but neither did Window-Eyes
give me any status or report on anything.
Any suggesions are greatly appreciated, since I heard about Ninite
on this list. <smile>
Thanks much.
Pat Ferguson, loving my new computer with 16GB RAM.
