I have had this same issue numerous times. Reporting it to GW support
gave me no solution. Only way I found was to get sighted help and
install without speech.

Hi.
I just tried to install Window-Eyes onto my laptop. Whenever it starts to
run I get the message
Window-Eyes cannot communicate with the Window-Eyes display driver
component. It may be disabled in device manager or it may not be installed
correctly. Please enable it or reinstall it and try again.
I went into the device manager, and the driver is enabled. I then tried to
update the driver, and I was informed it was up to date. I'm not sure what
to do now. Help!
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Don't work too hard.
