Then tell me the deffinition of a "screen Reader" as you see it.
Some people seem to think that you should be able to by a $600 piece of
software that will work with any piece of software you put in it's way. and
that it's the screen reader company's obligation to make it so.
It's not possible nonbelievers. It's the responsability of the original
writers of the software
to write it so that it will work with screen readers. There are standards.
and if Software designers followed them we probably wouldn't need to have
this discussion. ----- Just because I own a house doesn't mean I don't have
to pay for upgrades in the wiring plumbing etc.

Because until companies make their software accessible, out of the box,
it takes lots of work to get some of them working.
Plus I don't think a screen reader company has the resources to make all
programs work with their product. It's not possible without lots of work.
It's not, GW Micro's fault that
everything doesn't work. Their job is to provide a screen reader that
works well with many types of the more popular or most used programs.
The microsoft products, for instance.
Anything else is really gravy.
We aren't entitled to get everything free. All this is just my opinion of
course and not intended to start a war. <grin>

As for making Gw Connect chargeable, it could be something like $10 or
$20 and it would just remove the commercials and the boxes at the start
and/or the end of the program. It could be a one time fee.
