Hi:
For anyone who experiences the problem of keyboard echo resetting
itself, I can suggest an app called Keyboard Roter.
In this app, you can press shift-alt-k to rotate between having the
keyboard echoing characters as you type, words, both characters and
words and neither characters or words.
The app is available on App Central and you can use the AppGet app to
download and install it.
