I have likewise experienced this same issue and at times, lose speech completely. I did point this out as well to GW but since i had no error report to share, it's difficult to identify. It isn't application specific either. It occurs anytime that I enter a line of information and want to erase a large portion of that information. When WE stops speaking, if I wait for a bit, it will generally recover but occasionally I will need to cold boot the PC. I also notice this behavior is more prevalent when Window-Eyes is loaded for more than a few hours.

This worked perfectly in 7.2, and folks at GWM can't figure it out either. Here's what I have to do when trying to correct an error in spelling. Even though when I press the backspace key, it speaks the letter or word, it does not either erase the word or character. So I have to shut down WE first, then after having placed the cursor in the right place, hit the backspace key, and turn WE back on, to see that the letter or word was erased. What a big pain that is. So please help someone out there. Thanks in advance. ____________________________________________________________ 5 Diet Pills that Work 2012's Top 5 Weight Loss Pills.
