Hello Ivan,
Have you installed the Office 2010 Set files? This is accomplished by
going to the Window-Eyes File menu, opening the factory settings dialog,
installing Office 2010, and restarting any open Office programs. If that
isn't enough, you might also need to force Window-Eyes to redetect the
cursor. To do this from within Word, press Control-Insert-C. After that,
you should be able to read the document.
Regards,
Steve

I hope somebody can help with the following problem.
I have recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2010. I have saved a
lot of files created in Word 2003. When I open these files in Word
2010,/ I can read them with the “read to end” command or even by
screens but I can’t read by line or word. My wife tells me that the
cursor will move using the down arrow but but Window-Eyes only sounds
the error bell and does not read the next line. Is there some way of
overcoming this problem? Also the file appears to be “read only” and
cannot be amended. /

am not running 7.5.4.1. I will upgrade to this version./
