Actually, this is a bug that has been fixed for the next version of Window-Eyes.

Thanks,

Aaron

Very likely it's a virus. Try to run a scan of your virus protection software,
see if it finds any threats and if it can remove them. It may be difficult to
do this, but your computer just might continue to run while scanning.. Good
luck. This may be a tough one to remove. I've spoken to a couple people who
have had to reinstall Windows.

I began seeing this on my Windows XP box in the last few months. I'm not
sure about the cause; it is intermittent. I have McAfee running on the
computer that displayed that message.

Subject: Services and Controller app

Hello Everyone

I am wondering if anyone knows what the "services and Controller app"
is and what it does. I am getting error messages saying this app
needs to close. It is accompanied, in another window, by the
message"shut down is authorized by NT authority system".

If I don't close down the machine it eventually closes down by itself.

With thanks

Mike.
