Trenton,

Ah, since this thread started with Landmarks which is aria I just assumed you were talking aria separators. I see now you are talking the html hr tag. Now the would is round again. Yes, when we support aria separators we could easily add html hr tags to this and treat them the same.

Strange, at least with NVDA, it keeps saying there are.
I only bring NVDA up, mainly because pressing S with that particular
screen reader is moving to next and previous seperaters. Although,
I'll admit, that key only works within Firefox, and not inside IE.
To clarify, I'm talking about the seperaters that have the
<hr
HTML tag. I didn't know it is Aria/or a land mark...

I will say though, as a compliment, which I probably said before, that
WE is working wonderfully! with Yahoo Mail. Not so with GMail, the
standard interface, whether it being firefox or IE. And the new yahoo
mail, has gotten plenty! of Aria.

Chrome I know doesn't work with WE, as it crashes.

Trendon,

As mentioned, there is no aria markup on these pages and that includes
separators. We searched the html code and there is no reference to any
aria. Can you tell me what makes you think there are aria separators on
this page?

Thanks,
Doug

Ah, I chose those pages because they have seperators.

Landmarks are good, at least within Internet explorer 9.

Trenton,

Thanks for the web pages but neither of these pages has any aria mark up
what so ever. Are there specific pages within these pages these that
you are referring to?

Doug

Well, besides the ACB Radio Web site,

http://acbradio.org/pweb/

, and some community forums, such as

http://www.computerforums.org/forums/site-admin-news-feedback/suggestions-219541.html

, I can't think of any other places at the moment.

Trenton,

Actually landmarks are still within our goal to get supported before
the
final 8.0. But regarding separators, do you have a web page that is
marked with them? To me separators don't seem like a navigational
thing
like landmarks would be. Just interested in a real world usage of
separators and since you brought them up as missing, I would hope you
could point me to some.

thanks,
Doug

Yes, I was wondering the same thing.
Seperators are also not within browse mode either.
Those two edditions I hope can come in a free upgrade!
Or even before the beta testing is over.

Hi, the new brows mode in the beta works wonderfully well wonderful

micro. I like it I love it I want some more of it. One thing I was
really
hoping for with the new brows mode was land mark support. This is
important
because a number of sites use this to provide a quick means of
moving
to
points of interest on the page. Is there any way we could get
landmark
support?
