I have not experienced this particular problem because I've never learned to use bookmarks effectively. When they were first introduced I played with them a bit but they didn't seem to work very well and I quit trying. However I think there's a problem in general with Window-Eyes beta getting out of sync with the link that is going to be activated if you press Enter. I suspect that my problems and these with the bookmarks are related to the same base issue. I didn't find which browser you're using, but I'm seeing a lot of weirdness in Firefox. On some pages if I use the insert-tab hotkey to open the link list and choose one, another one will activate instead of what I picked, or nothing at all happens and I'm back at the top of the page. I've also seen login pages where tabbing seems to be out of sync. In particular the Bank of America login won't work by simply entering the passcode and then tabbing to what should be the login link. Window-Eyes says it's the login link, but activating it puts you right back on the same page. I've found that I have to manually exit browse mode after typing the passcode and move to the login link with the arrow key. Then it will work as expected. I sent a separate message to support detailing this. I share it here to help others figure out what's going on and work around it until the next beta comes along.

Placemarkers don't quite work as expected. If you press K it will take you to the placemarker and, if it's a link and you press enter, that link will activate. But if you try to tab around the location of the placemarker, it doesn't work; instead you're still at the top of the page. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Huber" <[email protected]> To: "gw-info" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 02, 2012 2:35 PM Subject: Re: new brows mode > Hi Steve: > I think there is a problem with the bookmarks. > I have found this problem when reading a message in my Gmail account. > In order to reproduce this, do the following, if you have a Gmail account: > 1. log into your Gmail account and go to your inbox. > 2.
