Like Jim I have some sight and I like the "view the web page" with the mouse. One place is facebook. I reverted back to IE 8 so this feature would work with WE 7.5.4... Hope WE 8 and IE 9 will have this feature. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Roberts" <[email protected]>

Hi Doug

Reviewing the screen with the mouse is very useful to me. I can see well enough to identify text on a web page and then move the mouse over the text to read it. I find this a fast way to skim through a web page. If I need to read more than a few lines I turn on browse mode.

The new feature in the WE 8 beta that keeps the screen in sync with browse mode is a big improvement.

The best would be if I could review the screen with the mouse and be able to start reading in browse mode from the mouse location.

Thanks

Jim Roberts

Don,

Sure, I'm not saying it isn't useful but I wanted to see if you had a certain web page that you just couldn't use or just a comfortable option you've grown accustom to. Sounds like the latter.

This won't make 8.0 but is on our list.

It is just another way to review the screen. You were able to do it for so many years and I would have hoped it was there for a very useful method of reviewing the screen.

Don,

That is correct. Can you give me an example of what you are trying to
do with the mouse that you can't do without it?

Thanks,
Doug

Sorry to say you still can't use the mouse keys to read the screen in
IE 9. Is this resolved with IE 10?
