"message history read only" but here it says "message history read only
rich edit".
i think if i can reclass to make it like the normal read only control
then i can
arrow around the mesage history. yes, the window is maximized.

Reclassing is only possible when you are working with a custom
control; you cannot reclass standard windows. With that said, if you
are having problems reading the chat history in GWConnect, make sure
the window is maximized with Alt-Space, X.
